Any shot at getting a traditional town based tileset?

You can kinda create towns with all the sets you've released thus far, but it feels like you have to make a lot of compromises and they don't really fit so well.

It could also just be that I'm using the tiles in an unintended way, too.  Seems like they work best when using them to make a one-screen (or close to it) map, rather than something larger.

considering buying the bundle but can you advise if the mines tileset (the one that shows in the tiny tales title splash page on the right) is included in the overworld set

thanks.

Hey, thank you for this super awesome package! I used it for my pre-alpha game : https://dekisenpaitm.itch.io/project-soul

maybe you want to try it :D

Are you planning on releasing more tilemaps like this in a little darker setting like the dungeon thingy?

thank you!

Are this bundles compatible with Unity?

Yes, I'm using them with unity tilemapping :)

Corrupted file

Hi, one of the files says it is corrupted and can not be expanded.

Thanks!

May I use elements for twitch or youtube stream overlay?

Asking since it is not necissarily a game.

how do you get grass on the top of the cliffs like you have it in the sample drawing?

What do you use these tileset things with? What application is used to create said maps? Sorry, very new to this

Tilesets are made up of smaller, usually square images or sprites.

This makes the math involved in image rendering software easy.

Basically, tilesets like this one are designed to be usable with anything that is already able to make games.

Ah, okay. Thank you!

very good

Thank you for your kind words! We'll do our best to make sure this line of assets keep growing and improving!

These are great! I'll definitely see about using them :)

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoy this pack!

What size are the tiles?

(+1)

16x16 natively, but can easily be resized up to 32x32 or 48x48, so it's rather flexible.

Thanks! This is a great tileset!

Are the climates meant to be different areas or do the tilesets match (meant for seasons) ?

Hi! So, for the most part, they are different areas. But if organized in the same tile index, grassland and snow can definitely match as seasons. Desert is a different story as it has a fairly different cliff texture, meant for more variety rather than matchmaking.

But now that you mention, you just gave me an idea for a future patch of sorts =)

Oh okay! I will keep an eye out!

Yeah I can see the desert and beach as season-less areas. Would be neat if the main forest/town had winter/summer/autumn tile-sets with matching indexes (would make seasons a breeze coding wise).

Curious to see what the direction you take with it!

That's something I can definitely look towards in the future, as I consider the first pack the prototype to garner interest and feedback to build a much larger library out of it!
